It is with great regret that Lakeside Productions announces that we will put AugustFest on hold this year.

Several factors have brought us to this extremely difficult decision. Our struggling economy has provided for a significant decrease in sponsorship support that is crucial to the event. We did not want to have a festival that was less than the years past, and although talent acquisition has been in progress since last year, we are not comfortable with the available talent to provide a strong lineup for the fans. We felt we would not be able to provide an event that lives up to our high standards.

All things considered, the decision was made to forgo this year and begin to put our concentration forward to the 2010 AugustFest.

and look forward to seeing you all in 2010.

Annual Lake County Fair County Concert Series

We encourage everyone looking for a local outdoor music event this summer, to check out this year’s Annual Lake County Fair and their Country Concert Series.

Main Stage entertainment includes James Otto, Randy Houser and Fire and Ice on Friday July 31st and Blake Shelton, Jamey Johnson and Mellencougar
on Saturday August 1st.

The concerts are free with paid admission (only $10.00) and the Beer Garden will be open! Seating is General Admission Lawn. Go to the Fair’s website for more info. lakecountyfair
